About Me:: Easy going, sensitive, and adventurous, I am an energetically person that loves the water. I am fortunate to be in good health, and God willing (as my mother used to say) have many years of sailing left. I am 5’ 7” of average build and looks. I am a retired engineering professional. I do not smoke or drink.
Sailing Experience:: I’ve been sailing for over 40 years years starting out sailing in a Sea Snark and now own a 40’ Catalina sailboat. I’m the kind of guy that likes to do my own maintenance soI am well versed in the workings of most ship’s system. Although I like to go fast I am not a racer and would rather cruise to some quiet harbor for the evening. I have made many passages through Woods Hole, the Islands, and down Long Island Sound. I’m not interested in Blue Water sailing, but wouldn’t mind doing an over night with a competent shipmate.
