I retired this year and ran away to Normandy with vague dreams of escaping through the French canals; I'm divorced, at least partially housetrained, and solvent. - 20 or so years sailing - mostly in the UK, but also in Asia, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean I currently sail a 33ft ketch, and have never really been into racing or hardcore offshore passage-making.
