Toward the end of my professional career, getting ready for the adventure of my life.... Looking for the purchase of a lifting centerboard monohull, 43-45' to go sail around the world. Hoping to start my adventure at the end of 2022.
I love exploring, discovering new cultures, get excited when I arrive in a new place. Had many travel opportunities in the past, including a 2 yr sabbatical in 2010 involving both backpacking and sailing, loved the experience and want to get back into this ''zone'' but this time with someone to share experiences.
I would like to say I'm a low maintenance man, very adaptable, lived in many countries as part of my career. Liberal minded but yet conservative in assessing risks and plans. - Sailing Experience:

Started on dinghy sailing in 1997, then small boats on lakes.
When I moved to Houston in 2001, started to get a lot of sailing experience including Atlantic crossing with a friend, one year cruising on my First 345 in the Western Caribbeans - half of it single handed, offshore regattas in the Gulf of Mexico including Veracruz races which last 5-6 days.
I really love the sailing experience, love being offshore. Not much of a performance oriented sailor, but, I enjoy having my sails well trimmed.

Started sailing back in 1997, have developed through the years a lot of self-confidence in managing boats short handed and sometimes single-handed.
I'm self taught, I love learning on my own through books, internet.
