I know more about sailing and yachts than any other man who has never set foot on one either.I have owned power boats most of my life, and think now is the time to learn to sail with a friend.I consider myself a Master Builder, so am very capable of doing any repairs, but not engines. We have things called Mechanics for that.
I would also only be a fair weather/ warm water sailor. Circumnavigating the globe would be fun, but only round the Equator or inside the Tropics.. No Southern Ocean for me, thanks. If I could be a fictional character, it would be Robinson Caruso..... I could build a stockade, skin and cook wild animals,catch fish, and entertain you with my singing. I have been a widower for 8 years....too long alone !
