About Me:

Most of my career has been with various government ministries in administrative support capacity. I own my own home; attempt to garden, not always successful but I try; I've been a dog lover all my life (showed and race Siberians) but I now own a cat who I need more than she needs me; still after 12 years I love her anyways.

Still working in the healthcare profession but looking forward to travelling down the road.

Sailing Experience:

I've been a boater both sail and power for most of my adult life. I've crewed on friends sailboats in regattas around the lake and had a fairly good eye for flying shoot in my earlier days. Now I enjoy the relaxation of cruising both sail and power. Love going away on weekends and packing up the boat for a weekend or weeklong get-a-aways. Love cruising and evenings at our destination with good friends, snackies or BBQ's and our favourite "refreshment" in a candlelit cockpit.
I love visiting all areas around the lake and love the thousand islands especially. Only been there once but always a dream to return.
I'm great in the galley and the cockpit or foredeck. I know my lines and my way around a boat! Looking forward to relaxing and enjoy the softer gifts of boating now and actually enjoying cruising. But, I still like to race now an again.
