Based in Oakland, CA. When I'm not working on or sailing my Islander 36, you'll find me salsa dancing, cycling, gardening or generally finding ways to spend time outdoors.

I was introduced to sailing by a friend with a Westsail 32. I helped sail it down the Atlantic coast for 10 days in 2008 and sailed around the Chesapeake Bay with him several times in subsequent years. Fast forward to 2018, when I finally began to take proper sailing lessons on the San Francisco Bay. A year later in 2019 I bought a 1978 Islander 36, which I spend a lot of time upgrading and sailing on the Bay. I'm preparing the boat for offshore sailing. First stop will be somewhere in Mexico.
