I would describe myself as an old fashioned gentleman, youthful, kind, serious, artistic, nomadic, poet, British sense of humor, but am not British. 100% honest and loyal.
I grew up in Asia, but having a mixed heritage I move across cultural barriers easily. I love learning about people.
I have bought a 52 ketch in FL and am sailing in SE Asia.
- Sailing Experience:
- I started sailing at 25 years of age and it has taken over my life. Since then I have won Malaysian nationals on a Flying Dutchman, started a large Regatta (Raja Muda) that is in its 30th year, sailed around the world, survived a shipwreck, worked as a engineer on a 110 ft sailboat. Rebuilt 2 boats, and have owned boats except for 8 days since 1988. Write and publish poetry about sailing. I can barely surf (I started to learn at 60) so not a strong point but I am an experienced SCUBA diver. I can cook above average mostly Asian food, but I am not a good baker.
