Hello, I'm Sue the spiritual scientist. I’m 57-years-young and I have a history of sailing, living aboard and cruising that goes back to the ‘90s. I'm an introvert who loves to sail, snorkel, dive, read, learn, walk, dinner with friends, arts & crafts, volunteer. When I'm not on a sailboat or a plane to a tropical dive location (Maldives or Mauritius, anyone?), I'm on a road trip in my minivan, which I've converted into a camper. I live an alternative lifestyle of adventure and learning. I am open to new opportunities as crew, friendships, dates.
My ideal day would include being in/on/around the water, getting salty and satisfied with a special someone. One of my favorite things to do is to be anchored out.
I'm looking for a genuine soul who is funny and fun and full of ideas (maybe not all the time, though), affectionate, loyal, humble yet accomplished. I look forward to hearing about you.
I am financially-independent and getting very close to early retirement.

It started in Puget Sound in the '90s. Then I sailed San Francisco Bay for several years. Then I bought a small sailboat in the Ionian Islands of Greece. Currently I am sailing around the Neuse River in North Carolina, close to the ICW. In general, I prefer to not be in charge. I'm much more comfortable being a really good first mate/crew member. In May 2022, I finished a week on the ICW from Morehead City to Norfolk on a Cape Dory 30. I am very excited to keep building my experiences.
