The Route du Rhum is a gruelling transatlantic solo race that sets off from St Malo, in Brittany, France and finishes in Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe, a distance of just over 3500 miles.
An annual offshore Malaysian sailing event, the Raja Muda Selangor International Regatta was first competed for in 1988. This offshore race is organised by the Royal Selangor Yacht Club together with the RORC and also forms part of the Asian Yachting Grand Prix Championships.

The Baja HaHa Cruisers Rally is an exciting sailing event that takes place every year in the month of October. The race runs from San Diego all the way to Cabo San Lucas and there are stops at both Turtle Bay and Bahia Santa Maria. Consequently, the race has three legs, with the first being approximately 360 miles, the second 240 miles and the third 180 miles.
